Small steps can make a BIG difference

When we hear the word “working out” we hear the word "work" and in our already busy lives additional work sounds to much like a chore. However, exercising or improving our strength doesn’t have to be hard. In fact, simply just increasing movement by walking may be a key to improving mental and physical health. Check out these simple steps to improving your wellness:
1. The three G’s
Get up, Get out, and Get moving at least 30min. a day.
2. Avoid bad habits
Try to avoid sitting for long periods of time, try and get up and move a few minutes every hour.
3. The Buddy System
If you're looking to achieve a goal, having a friend could help you reach your target. Working out with a friend holds you accountable to show up, provides motivation for both parties, and encourages competition to maintain a happier & healthier you.
4. Write down your goal
Creating a list helps you to stay on track by clearly defining your goals and allowing you to take them on one step at a time.
