What To Do After A Car Accident?

1.Check for Injury

Examine all passengers involved for any injuries.  If there is an injury, call an ambulance right away.

2. Remain Calm

Do not engage in any arguments with the other party.

3.Exchange Information

Get the other driver’s name, address, phone number , insurance company, policy number, license number, and plate number

4. File A Report

Call the police and inform them of the accident. Even if an officer does not come to the scene, filling a police report can speed up the claims process.

5. Take  A Picture

If you can, take photographs of all cars involved to protect yourself against fraudulent claims from the other drivers.

6.Stay Put

Don’t leave the scene of the accident before the police arrive and/or you make sure you have all necessary information.

7. Call Your Insurance Company

Contact your insurance company to file the claim
