Spring!

Are you prepared for Spring?

Winter has lasted long enough, and boy are we ready for warmer weather!  The real question is whether or not our homes are prepared for the increasing temperatures.

Check out these five simple steps to help you spring into Spring!

1.) Ceiling Fans

Be sure to test and clean all ceiling fans to ensure that they are working properly. Ceiling fans are a great way to help drop the rising temperatures in the home during the hotter seasons.
Using a ceiling fan can also help save money by reducing the use of the costly A/C unit.

2.) A/C & Filters

If the fan just isn’t enough and you need to switch on the A/C , you will want to run a yearly maintenance check on the unit’s condition and change out any filters as needed.

3.) Window Seals

Replacing worn or damaged window seals can help keep the cool air in and the pesky bugs out.

4.) Roof Shingles

Shifting or broken tiles can be a big pain down the road. Checking on them often can prevent roof leaks and avoid expensive repairs.

5.) Concrete

Inspect your concrete for cracks or movement. Repairs are fairly easy and can help avoid potential slip and falls.
