ü Discuss an emergency escape plan that ensures the safety of you and your loved ones. This emergency plan should include a survival kit.

When preparing consider the following:   

First Aid Kit: prepared with first aid items, personal hygiene products, glasses/contact lenses and any necessary medication(s). 

Food:
You should have at least two weeks worth of food for each family member.


Water
:
Did you know that water expires? You can purchase UV resistant, food grade storage containers that allow you to store water longer.
 

ü In case of an emergency, know where your water and gas shuts off valves are located.

ü Be prepared by securing furniture such as mirrors, bookcases, shelves, and any other heavy or dangerous item that may be harmful to you
    and your loved ones in a shake out.

ü A natural disaster can be extremely frightening and stressful for everyone, have some cards, books, candy, or any other items that are small
 that help ease the tension stress of the situation.
